Hi there. Welcome to Darnley Church, which is part of the United Free Church of Scotland.
We are a family of everyday people on the journey of discovering more about Jesus and how to live for him. Some of us have known Jesus for a long time, others are just beginning that walk or just looking. Why don’t you come and journey with us?
We meet on Sundays at 11:00am. The service will last just over an hour, followed by tea, coffee and chat. Tots, kids and youth also have their own activities.
Our church building is right in the middle of Darnley community, and close to the M77 Motorway (junction 3), so we are easy to find.

Living For Jesus, Loving Others
The Darnley Sycamore Tree is a local landmark. Once planted, sycamores put down strong roots and when mature, spreads its seeds (keys) to transform the area with new growth.
Like the sycamore, our church has been planted and taken root in Darnley. We seek to be a community of disciples, living for Jesus, deeply rooted in him and loving others around Darnley and beyond.
We seek to be a Church guided and led by the Holy Spirit, and where prayer is a key part of our life together.
We seek to be a church of all ages and people groups as the gospel takes root and grows among all those living within the area.
We seek to be a church where everyone takes seriously the great commission and seeks to spread the gospel ‘key’ to all living within the Darnley community and beyond.
Finding Jesus
God loves us so much that he sent his one and only son, Jesus to come to earth on a mission to find and rescue us and invite us to be part of his family (John 3:16)
Why do I need Jesus to rescue me?
- None of us have ever lived a perfect life. We’ve all messed up, got it wrong, hurt people and most of all hurt God. The good news is that Jesus’ took the rap for us when he died on the cross, so we could be forgiven and truly live guilt free.
- Hurting, lonely, broken, addicted – Jesus heals, cleanses and restores.
- Restless /Searching for meaning. – Jesus brings peace, meaning and purpose to all who know him.
- Even if we try to live our best possible life, Jesus is the only way to get access to God and to live in heaven with him forever (John 14:6).

COME Whether you are searching for answers, looking for a church family, or just visiting Glasgow: We would love you to join us any Sunday at 11:00am. We’re just a group of ordinary people seeking to live for Jesus and love others. Your presence would be a great encouragement to us, and we will do our best to make you feel welcome and to help / answer any questions in the best way that we can.
