Living For Jesus, Loving Others
A Sycamore Key
VISION
The Darnley sycamore Tree is a local landmark. Once planted, a sycamore puts down strong roots and when mature, spreads its seeds (keys) to transform the area with new growth.
Like the sycamore, our church has been planted and taken root in Darnley. We seek to be a community of disciples, living for Jesus, deeply rooted in him and loving others around Darnley and beyond.
We seek to be a Church guided and led by the Holy Spirit, and where prayer is a key part of our life together.
We seek to be a church of all ages and people groups as the gospel seeds are sown and takeroot and grow among all those living within the area.
We believe the good news of Jesus is the key to life. We seek to be a church where everyone takes seriously the great commission and seeks to spread the gospel ‘key’ to all living within the Darnley community and beyond.

God is all powerful therefore we always have HOPE.
‘Nothing is impossible with God’ (Luke 1:37)
We access God’s power through:
Jesus – The good news of Jesus is the Power of God to save everyone who believes (Romans 1:16)
The Bible – The word of God is alive and Powerful (Hebrews 4:12)
The Holy Spirit – You will receive Power when the Holy Spirit comes on you, to tell people about me everywhere (Acts 1:8)
We ADVANCE as we PRAY
We ADVANCE as we PRAY
Ask and it will be given to you,
Seek and you will find,
Knock and the door will be opened (Matthew 7:7)
“Joyful always, Pray continually, Give thanks no matter what” (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18)
Our ATTITUDE is PRAISE

Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good, His love lasts forever! (Psalm 107:1)
Our Praise flows upwards to God and outwards to others.
